1. Where can I get the iDo Outlook Companion?

You can download the iDo Outlook Companion at the [CodeOperator] Website.

2. With which Outlook versions will iDo work?

The iDo Outlook Companion works with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. Earlier versions may work, but are not officially supported.

3. What are the requirements for the iDo Outlook Companion?

System requirements for the Companion:

Apple Bonjour (normally comes with iTunes, but you can download and install it from apple Website)

a network connection to your iPhone/iPod touch

4. How can I see that the companion works?

The current status of the companion is shown in the first line of the window. A running bar underneath indicates a running companion. If this bar is not running, please restart the Outlook Companion.

5. How can I see how many Outlook tasks will be synchronized?

In the left of the status bar (in the bottom of iDo Companion window) the number of task items is listed. Only these task items will be transfered to your iPhone/iPod touch.

6. The iPhone/iPod touch does not list any PC to synchronize with. Why?

Ensure first that the iDo Outlook Companion is running on your PC. Second: iDo on the iPhone/iPod touch is using Apple Bonjour to find any PC to synchronize with. Please ensure that Apple Bonjour is installed on your PC. Make sure that your firewall does not interfere with the communication: iDo needs port TCP/13000 and Bonjour UDP/5353 on your PC to be open.

7. Can iDo synchronize with iCal or Microsoft Entourage?

No, iDo 1.0. cannot synchronize with any Mac OS X application. At this stage there is only a companion for Microsoft Outlook. Please check the iDo Website at CodeOperator frequently for any new future Companions.

8. My question to support were not answered, why?

While publishing iDo there was an internal server problem which also interfered email delivery. We solved the problem, so you will get a response shortly.

9. The scrolling in iDo on the iPhone is very slowly, why?

Some constellations (iPhone/outlook/number and categories of tasks) cause a slow scrolling. [CodeOperator] is hardly working on fixing the problem - this update is free for all iDo 1.0 buyers. Please send an email with your configuration to support in case you have this problem.
